Casper Browser does not require you to create an account or register. We do not collect authentication credentials or personal profile data of any kind through the application. If you submit your email address via the waitlist form on this website, that is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Casper Browser is a general-purpose web browser. Websites and content you visit using Casper are third-party content for which we have no responsibility. We do not endorse, curate, or control the content of websites you browse. Your use of any third-party website or service is governed by that party's own terms and policies.
If you configure Casper to connect to an AI model via Ollama or any other local or remote endpoint, the terms of that provider govern their service. We have no visibility into and assume no responsibility for any third-party AI provider you choose to configure.
The Casper Browser name, logo, and application code are proprietary to Casper Browser and its author. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of or a license to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the application for its intended purpose.
The application incorporates open-source components. Where required by their licenses, attributions and license texts are included within the application distribution. Your rights to those components are governed by their respective open-source licenses.
Casper Browser is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the application or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
Privacy and security features described in the application are designed to reduce exposure to certain classes of tracking and fingerprinting. No browser can guarantee complete anonymity or protection from all threats. You remain responsible for your own operational security.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Casper Browser and its author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of privacy — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the application, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the application shall not exceed the amount you paid for the application (which, for a free application, is zero).
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Casper Browser after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
