The short version: We collect almost nothing. The application itself collects nothing. If you give us your email address for the waitlist, we use it only to notify you when Casper is ready — nothing else, ever.
This Privacy Policy describes how Casper Browser ("Casper", "we", "our") handles information in connection with this website and the Casper Browser application.
If you submit your email address on the waitlist form, we store that address for the sole purpose of notifying you when Casper is available for your platform. We will not share, sell, rent, or use your address for any other purpose — no newsletters, no marketing, no third-party sharing. You can request deletion at any time by emailing ravi.boorla@gmail.com.
If you do not submit your email, we collect nothing from your visit beyond what Cloudflare's infrastructure logs as part of normal web traffic (IP address, request timestamp, user agent string). We do not have access to these logs for tracking purposes and do not retain them ourselves. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, session replay tools, or third-party scripts on this website.
The Casper Browser application itself:
The only network traffic Casper generates is traffic you initiate: navigating to pages, fetching search results, and (if you configure it) connecting to a local AI model via Ollama. None of this is sent to us.
Casper's AI features connect to a model running on your own machine via Ollama. Your questions, research queries, and AI prompts are processed entirely on your device and are not transmitted to any server we operate. If you choose to configure a remote model endpoint yourself, the terms of that third-party provider govern their handling of your data.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs their handling of network-level data. We do not use any other third-party services on this website: no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Hotjar, no social media widgets, no fonts loaded from external CDNs. All fonts on this page are self-hosted.
This website sets no cookies.
This website and application are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
If you submitted your email address for the waitlist, we retain it until you request deletion or until Casper is publicly released and we have notified you. To request deletion, email ravi.boorla@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my email".
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold at most one piece of data about you (your email address, if you submitted it), exercising these rights is straightforward — email us at ravi.boorla@gmail.com.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Given that we collect almost nothing, material changes are unlikely. We will not change how we handle your email address without first notifying you.
